Clear expectations before paid access launches.
OrthoTech Prep is currently preparing the controls needed for paid subscriptions. This policy sets the commercial ground rules before checkout is enabled.
OrthoTech Prep is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by the National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists, Inc. Its practice questions are not official NBCOT examination items.
Current status
Paid subscriptions are not yet active. If pricing is added later, the checkout page will explain the plan, renewal interval, price, included features, and any trial or promotional terms before payment is collected.
Cancellation
When subscriptions launch, users will be able to cancel future renewal through the account or billing portal. Cancellation will prevent the next charge and may allow access to continue until the end of the already-paid billing period unless the checkout terms say otherwise.
Refunds
Refund requests will be reviewed in good faith. Unless required by law or stated in a promotional offer, refunds are generally not guaranteed after substantial use of paid content, completed exam simulations, or elapsed subscription time. Duplicate charges, accidental renewals reported promptly, and technical access failures will be prioritized for resolution.
No pass guarantee
Payments, subscriptions, analytics, readiness estimates, study plans, and practice scores do not guarantee exam eligibility, exam performance, certification, employment, or clinical competence.
Institutional access
Institutional or cohort pricing may use separate written terms for seat counts, renewal, cancellation, refunds, reporting, and administrator access. Those written terms control if they conflict with this general policy.
