Original learning material, traceable references.
This policy explains how OrthoTech Prep creates, credits, and protects educational content.
OrthoTech Prep is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by the National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists, Inc. Its practice questions are not official NBCOT examination items.
Original site content
Unless otherwise identified, site design, chapter summaries, explanations, question stems, answer choices, and learning organization are original OrthoTech Prep material and are protected by applicable copyright law. Personal study use is permitted. Reproduction, resale, public posting, automated extraction, or creation of derivative commercial banks requires written permission.
References and attribution
Chapter reference shelves and item citations identify resources used to support or verify educational concepts. Citations, titles, trademarks, and links remain the property of their respective owners. A reference does not imply that its author, publisher, or organization reviewed or endorsed OrthoTech Prep.
Openly licensed and public-domain material
When an illustration, image, or passage is used under an open license or from the public domain, the site will identify the creator, source, license, and modification status when required. License terms control any reuse of that specific material.
Quotations and links
Only limited quotations should be used when necessary for commentary, accuracy, or instruction. The site generally summarizes concepts and links learners to the original source. External pages remain governed by their publishers’ terms.
Content concerns
Rights holders and users may report suspected attribution, licensing, or duplication issues through the in-question reporting workflow. Include the affected material, the original source, and the requested correction. Credible notices will be investigated and material may be attributed, revised, restricted, or removed.
Exam content
OrthoTech Prep does not solicit, reproduce, or claim access to confidential examination items. Users must not submit recalled or reconstructed secure exam questions. Exam-format simulations are independently authored and are not official replicas.
